Lettering Patches
I owe the fact that there are now patches with my lettering to one of my Insta followers who wrote to me: »I would love to sew patches of your protest signs on all my bags!«
In response to this kind of message I usually think: »Sure, one day …«. But because this follower also pointed out a possible producer of such patches, I took up the idea. That’s how the collaboration with Kathrin Jahnes from Flickli came about.
Kathrin turned three of my lettering motifs into embroidered iron-on patches in her style: with a loose black stitch on soft white felt. The »No AfD No« design as an patch positions you against the right in moments when a demonstration sign is simply too bulky—and you can just iron it on! »feminist«— well, of course and a casual northern German »moin« (short for »good morning«) always fits, even in the evening.
The patches are available individually or as a set of three—just in time for the Bundestag elections and for the time afterwards.
